Meet us at EASG in Rome!
We’re looking forward to meeting industry colleagues, customers, and both new and familiar faces at EASG in Rome, September 11-13!
Christofer Hagstedt, Responsible Gambling Consultant, and Jakob Jonsson, certified psychologist and PhD, will be attending and speaking at the conference.
We (the marketing department) couldn’t resist asking Christofer and Jakob themselves to share why you absolutely shouldn’t miss their sessions.
Christofer, with the concept of Duty of Care becoming more important within the gambling industry, what insights will you bring to the discussion in your session?
As my session is very much about the fact that all at-risk and problem gamblers were once non-risk players, I will try to highlight the importance of having a consumer care perspective when communicating and working with all customers, not just those identified as being at risk.
Which session/-s are you particularly looking forward to attending?
My colleague Jakob Jonsson sessions, of course! But joking aside, the research sessions are very relevant to me, as is the women in gambling topic. I’m looking forward to the new insights they might provide.
Jakob, in a recently published scientific study, you delved deep into the effect of the auto-play feature on gambling behaviour. What will you share with us in your session?
Besides the obvious – the result of the study – I will reflect upon auto-play and its role in the development of disordered gambling.
Which session/-s are you particularly looking forward to attending?
The bad and good thing with EASG is that it’s a smorgasbord with so many tempting dishes. Quite often, I find myself wanting to attend two sessions at the same time. I have a special interest in harm minimization and regulation, so I’ll try to attend as many of those sessions as possible. And I hope to make it to at least one of the sessions focusing on women and gambling.
If you’d like to listen to Jakob or Christofer, we’ve listed the times and dates below. We hope to see you there!
